Larry is a Special Limited Partner of Argon Venture Partners. Along with three others, he has been credited with founding the "Internet". He is one of the world's foremost authorities on packet switching and network architecture. Larry led the team that designed and developed ARPANET, the world's first major computer packet network, which evolved into the modern "Internet".

Larry is President and CEO of Anagran, Inc., a next generation networking equipment company targeting service providers / enterprises seeking to provide the next wave of multi-play rich media applications. Anagran's products are intelligent flow routers that provide sustained performance and quality of service in media-rich networks, at a fraction of the price of conventional Layer 3 networking equipment.

Early in his career, Larry founded Telenet, the first packet data communications carrier. Sold to GTE in 1979, it eventually became the data division of Sprint. After founding Telenet, Larry was a Founder and CEO of two ATM companies-NetExpress and ATM Systems. Most recently, he was a Founder and CTO of Caspian Networks, where he designed and built IP Flow Routers.

Larry has been a recipient of numerous awards in the field of computer science and telecommunications, including the National Academy of Engineering's 2001 Draper Award, Engineering's highest honor.

Larry holds a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
